Where can I go for free advice and help?”, “Do I need staff and do I need an EIN if I don’t have staff?”, “Do I need to lease/buy a space or am I allowed to do this at home?”, “How will I know if this will be successful and how do I keep from going broke before I know?”, ”What is an exit strategy and why do I need one?” and much more.
March 1: Simple Bookkeeping Plus Maintaining Records on a Shoestring Budget. Learn to keep simple books on a shoestring budget. Tips for maintaining records so that you don’t feel overwhelmed at tax time. This course will include financing questions and where to find investment dollars.
March 15: Telling the World You Exist: Advertising Your New Business. So, now you have a business, how do you tell everyone you exist? Learn about press releases, soft and hard openings, Networking for all business and personality types, websites and marketing to reach the most people on a shoe string budget.
Please note that this workshop series will not be held at Wild Ivy Herb Farm. All 3 courses will be held at The Merc Coop in the Community Cafe, 901 S Iowa St, Lawrence, KS on Sundays from 2-3:30pm.
