Herb-infused vinegars make gorgeous salad dressings and marinades by adding 1 part vinegar to 3-4 parts olive oil. Delight yourself, family or guests with salad dressings that rock your greens! Use the same formula to make a marinade for meat, chicken or fish to add extraordinary flavor and tenderizing. These vinegars also make great ingredients for shrub cocktails!
Our Four Thieves Vinegar makes a wonderful marinade or use it as an anti-viral, antimicrobial, antiseptic to kill bacteria on surfaces! For a household cleaner, simply add 1 part Four Thieves vinegar to 8 parts water in a spray bottle. Ingredients: Sage, Rosemary, Thyme, Lavender and Black Peppercorns are infused into organic apple cider vinegar. The Four Thieves vinegar name comes from a wonderful story from 17th century France when on a moonless night, 4 thieves robbing graves escaped the black plague by drinking and bathing in this same recipe!
We recommend our elderberry infused vinegar to be taken straight-up! This powerful immune booster is made with fresh harvested elderberries infused into raw apple cider vinegar. 1 teaspoon to 1 Tablespoon each day will help keep viruses and colds at bay. For a delightful shrub cocktail, add 1 jigger of any flavored Wild Ivy Herb Farm vinegar of your choice to club soda on ice. Add 1 teaspoon to 1 Tablespoon (to taste) raw sugar or raw honey. Any addition of alcohol is optional!
