2026 ELDERBERRY CUTTINGS NOW AVAILABLE!
We have started pruning the elderberry bushes in January and will be continuing into February, which is required while they are in their dormancy stage. Brrrrr…it’s cold work but so rewarding! Currently available: native elderberry cuttings, Sambucus canadensis. Additional varieties may be available in February.
Plant the cuttings pointed side down while the weather is cold. If you can’t plant immediately upon purchase, keep them cold in a food grade plastic storage bag in the fridge until you can get them in the ground before the weather warms up. The other option is to put pointed side down into a plant pot filled with potting soil to plant in the spring!
